Rylux OrganizerWhat is Rylux?

Your photos, sorted on their own.

Rylux Organizer downloads the photos from your camera, recognizes what's in them and files them in folders by subject and date. Free, on your Mac.

What it does

  • Downloads from your camera.

Connect the camera or put the card in the reader: it copies only the new photos and deletes nothing from the card.

  • Recognizes what's in the photo.

People, landscapes, architecture, interiors, animals, plants, food, still life. The analysis uses Apple Vision and stays on your Mac.

  • Folders in order.

RAW files, and the JPEGs that go with them, end up in RAW/Category/Year/Month/Day.

How it works

  1. Choose the main folder of your photos.

  2. Press Download, or Analyze Archive to sort the ones you already have.

  3. Check the preview and confirm.

Check before anything moves.

  • You see the thumbnail, category, date and destination folder of every file. Nothing moves until you confirm.
  • No file is overwritten and your RAW files are never modified.
  • Changed your mind? Undo puts the last move back.
  • The first time, try it on a copy of your photos.

It respects your archive.

The folders you already have stay where they are. Photos without a readable date go to a separate folder, not under an invented date.
